In episode 7 of the anime Dandadan, the past of Acrobatic Silky is finally revealed. A character long portrayed as an antagonist turns out to have a story filled with pain and sacrifice. She is the epitome of a mother’s immense love, despite her path being riddled with suffering. Who would have thought that a figure initially seen as terrifying could evoke deep empathy and earn profound respect from viewers, including me.
